Meg has ongoing education in:
- Myofascial release
- Remedial exercise
- Lymphatic drainage (Basic and Level 1, Vodder)
As well as years of experience working with clients who have
- Muscular injuries (sprains, strains, tendonitis etc), muscle pain and headaches
- TBI, strokes, spinal cord injuries
- Anxiety, depression and mood disorders
Her treatment approach takes all of these techniques and experiences into account. She rarely focuses on one or the other, instead combining her hands-on experience and education to try to approach each body in the way that will help most. She believes massage can help without hurting, and hopes clients will learn while they are with her. She keeps up to date on the latest research, and tries to make sure people leave knowing what they can do to continue to help themselves between treatments. Meg is always open to questions and feedback from clients to ensure the best treatment experience possible.
She offers in-home and on-site (hospice, retirement home or hospital) treatments for clients who may be otherwise unable to access massage therapy care.
