Meg has spent much of her career working with people with pain syndromes, acute and chronic injuries, and those in recovery from surgeries.

Further experience includes working with:

  • Older adults
  • People with Parkinson’s
  • Patients in palliative care
  • People with neurological, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries
  • Post-stroke care
  • People with physical or cognitive (dis)abilities
  • People suffering from depression, anxiety and other psychiatric or psychological complexities
  • Massage for people living with cancer

Meg enjoys working with people with complex needs who may not otherwise have access to massage care. Massage is available in-home or on-site for clients who are not able to access the clinic.

Her training includes taking Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Levels basic-3), massage for cancer patients, as well as many Myofascial Release courses.

Meg does not believe massage has to be painful, and works with her clients to figure out what pressure and techniques will be the most effective.

If you have any questions about whether massage therapy with Meg is right for you, or to book an appointment, please feel free to email her at meg@megmaxrmt.com or call her at 613.219.6997.
